In March of 1975, over 40 years ago I was living in Kansas and I signed up for a weekend program that promised to reveal the way to mastery. It sounded like an immensely powerful experience, and I was hungry for that.
Maybe it was because there was still snow on the roads, or maybe a lack of interest, but only 3 people showed up for the workshop, so the presenter, who was actually a medical doctor, gave us a lot of personal instruction and attention.
This was back in the day when there wasn’t much available on alternative approaches to healing, spirituality, or meditation, and I was passionate about finding everything I could get my hands on.
Dr. Love, as we affectionately called him, demonstrated a variety of healing methods that addressed the aura and chakras, and gave the instruction “If you’re ever unsure of what to do for a condition, just hold it in love until it dissolves”
It was the end of the day, and as we walked to our cars in the parking lot and I moaned about my neck pain. Without another word he laid his hand on the spot and in less than a minute the pain and tightness was gone.
I was totally amazed, and I’ve never forgotten that experience. To this day I still work with the love that emanates from the soul when I do sessions with people. By consciously directing soul love to any inharmonious condition, it can transmute.
Dr. Love gave me some very encouraging words that I now pass on to you. “What one person has attained, all can attain.” That kept me applying myself over the decades developing and refining my abilities to facilitate not only my own transformation, but that of others as well.
There is nothing more rewarding than helping people shift and clear their blocks and limitations, but it’s difficult to find deep-rooted core issues on your own…and even more difficult to clear them.
